15Five Named a “Major Player” in Three IDC MarketScape Reports

15Five

15Five is proud to share that we’ve been named a “Major Player” in three IDC MarketScape reports. They are:

  1. IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Employee Experience for Employee Voice and Sentiment Data Collection Methods 2023 Vendor Assessment (doc #US51428523, December 2023) – This IDC MarketScape study for voice of the employee (VoE) and employee sentiment data collection methods profiles technology partners that deliver VoE and employee sentiment active and passive data collection channels.
  1. IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Employee Experience for Integrated Employee Voice with HR and Operational Data 2023 Vendor Assessment (doc #US51428623, December 2023) – This IDC MarketScape study provides guidance around a host of use cases for engagement and connection (E&C).
  1. IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Employee Experience 2023 Vendor Assessment (doc #US50732923, June 2023) – And lastly, this IDC MarketScape for employee experience profiles technology partners that deliver a combination of the voice of the employee and employee sentiment resources and adjoining analytics that carry employee listening insights into the broader organizational resource directing use case.

Each of these reports aims to provide guidance around use cases for E&C while mapping each vendor within the report according to the uniqueness of their point of entry to the market, how they meet client organizational maturity to and through EX transformation, and the peripheral benefits they provides to non-HR or employee-centric functions or outcomes based on their most common use cases.

The IDC MarketScape research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. This provides technology buyers with a 360-degree assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and prospective vendors.

Delivering Business Outcomes

“Engagement and connection is among the earliest growth spaces in employee experience,” says Zachary Chertok, research manager for Employee Experience, IDC, and lead author of the three aforementioned MarketScapes. “EX transformation hinges on the dynamic collection, aggregation, and analysis of the voice of the employee, employee sentiment, and communications markers to influence the transition to people-centric operational models. IDC is examining the market for engagement and connection through three distinct lenses: VoE and sentiment data collection and analysis, VoE data collection and processing, and the integration of engagement and connection insights analytically into HR and non-HR critical data sets.”

Collection, aggregation, and analysis can unlock tremendous value in helping HR leaders gather signals from that information to then map out people-centric operational models. The 15Five platform enables users to do all of the above, gathering workforce insight data from a range of sources and empowering the relationship between managers and employees. HR leaders can then centralize and integrate employee engagement data from our platform into performance insights and opportunities for development, which is the crucial piece – not just gathering and analyzing the data, but extracting insights and then taking action to address them.

15Five helps HR leaders close the data aggregation → analysis → measurement → action loop using customers’ own performance and engagement data to prescribe actions proven to achieve HR outcomes, such as improving employee engagement, performance and retention. We call this loop the HR Outcomes Flywheel, a system of action that we believe is the future of strategic HR.

While an HRIS is a critical system of record, 15Five is the system of action. It is only when HR leaders are armed with a system of action that the full potential of the HR function can be unlocked.
