This is what Lough Key Castle looks like from the dock side of the Lough as you approach the island the castle is on. From a distance all you can really see is the top of the castle. The tower that you can see here is actually in the middle of the castle. Most of it is covered with trees and other natural growth. It is a sight to behold. The stone that you see in the bottom right hand side of the picture is the dock for a boat.
